    Hey all

I have been playing around with overclocking my system the last few days and have managed to get a stable 5.1Ghz I feel I can maybe push it a bit more but no sure how to go about it.

    The system:

    i5 7600k

    16GB 3200Mhz G-Skill RAM

    MSI Z170A Tomahawk

    Asus GTX 1070 Strix

For my overclock I set CPU voltage to 1.345 and multiplier to 51 Aida64 ran stable and ran a couple of Fire Strike benchs. I managed to hit the 5.2Ghz mark by leaving voltage and multiplier as is and adjusting the clock from 100 to 102 didn't run any benches but was operating normally for about 40min then the crashed.

Is it possible to reach 5.2 on this CPU if so how can I go about it?

You could try playing with some of the power settings such as vdroop. I would just keep increasing the voltage though. Try x51 multi and 1.4v. It will start to get too hot though at some point. Also try backing off the memory frequency until you can get the CPU stable.
